I chose this photograph because of the motion De Keyzer was able to capture in his photograph. If this image was just a simple still shot of these two soldiers eating it wouldn't have nearly as much emotion. The presence of motion allows for the viewer to feel as if they are on that street watching these men eat in person. Having that connection and feeling with a documentary photograph is very important.
